SPS Food and Nutrition Services is excited to announce that all Suffolk City Public students will be eligible for free breakfast and lunch for the 2023-2024 school year under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
This is an amazing opportunity for our students and community. This program is solely funded by federal funds and does not rely on district funds. Unfortunately, this program does not allow for funding to be used for free adult meals.
Staff meal prices for the 2023-2024 school year are as follows:
$4.50 – Breakfast
$4.50 – Lunch
These prices are set by USDA and VDOE. We will not provide change at any time for teachers or students. Any additional money will be credited to the individual account.
We will be trying new products and recipes throughout the school year, and we appreciate feedback from you and your students.
If you have after-school activities, we may be able to provide your student’s snacks/dinner depending on program type and the area eligibility of your school.
